Cathryn Warburton, 

Founder, Partner, Patent Attorney & Solicitor

Cathryn has a passion for helping clients protect and enforce their intellectual property. Having founded Acacia Law in 2003, Cathryn understands the challenges facing business owners. Her main areas of practice are intellectual property litigation, trade marks, copyright and designs.

Cathryn is the author of a book titled Copyright Practice & Precedents.

* On the Board for Business Enterprise Centre Ipswich Region (non profit organisation supporting small business).

* On the P & C committee of Kenmore State High School.

 

Mark Warburton, 

Partner, Patent Attorney & Solicitor

As an inventor himself, Mark has a unique perspective on helping others protect their intellectual property. Inventiveness runs in his family and his grandfather died in poverty after inventing a multi-million dollar invention that was stolen and registered by someone else. Mark helps his client’s avoid his grandfather’s fate by ensuring that their innovations are legally protected. His main practice areas are intellectual property litigation, patents, designs, copyright and trade marks.

Mark is a committee member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ), Queensland branch.

Mark is the Secretary of the Bremmer CCIQ.

Mark is also on the P & C Committee of Mt Crosby State School.
